What ever happened to a Dog Day Night?
Good Morning Citizens of Dogs and tic-tic-ing dog traders.

I can relate to both panels. Before retiring and after. I’ll take the after. Life is good, didn’t I just say that?

re: “old man sitting” painting from last night:
Is that one of yours? I really like it!
Now, we all know that I’m famous for missing the point a lot…but, to me, I’m seeing 2 interpretations:
1. That “Death” will be beckoning the old man to “enter” in a moment…
or
2. The memories of a lifetime all gone by are right behind that door.
or
a combination of both, perhaps.
Like I said, I’m probably not even on the right track, but that’s how I see it. I don’t see the figure in the doorway as being of this world, but more as a symbol of what the old man left behind or of what is awaiting him.
In any event, there’s definitely gloom and doom in the doorway and beyond. That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it…

@Dry
What you said last night: I agree. It sucks.

It is cute how all dogs like to find a patch of sun to lie in. However, day trading is a bit risky.

We too use cast iron. It is easy to wash if you keep the pans seasoned and get them really hot to begin with and reduce the heat once you have put whatever you want to cook into the pan. Cast iron is the perfect non-stick cookware.
Happy, happy, happy!!!
