Ray Rice is suing his suspension by the NFL. Maybe then it will be determined what the facts were before the piling-on / media conviction. Not to condone domestic violence, but lets get the facts straight before ruining his life, thus abusing the wife twice by her husband being unable to find work and becoming a public outcast. Was it a domestic fight out of control? Did she fall as much from being drunk or stoned as from being struck? Did she have any bruises? Did he have more bruises than her from her striking him? Did the police get it right from the start that it was a one-off? Guilty he probably is, but does it warrant firing? Would a large fine, several game suspension, counselling, be more appropriate? Give him his day in court before convicting him. I thought public lynching was no longer tolerated.
