Got that right. I have worn men’s clothing for many years, especially shirts. They don’t make women’s shirts with sleeves wide enough for women over 40 and our wingspans.

What happened,. Cathy, is that the “Hers” versions were designed for women who are actually height/weight proportionate. They were also designed to cater to the fact that straight men are visually oriented and like looking at the female body in all its unencumbered glory (see also yoga pants and women’s workout gear in general).

No one’s forcing you to wear any of it, Cathy.

Although, I do kinda see her point.

HI, MOM. Good Sunday Morning, “Cathy” Clan.

    Are those heels high enough?

Cathy, obviously you need to go on a fruits, vegetables and low protein diet! Your eating plan needs to include a 45 minute to one hour workout most days…and I don’t mean sitting down somewhere munching on a high sugar snack! ;)

Face it. You do a lot of things you don’t like when you are married. My wife loves flowers. She heard about Burchart Gardens. Yes, it is her birthday. I hate to fly so we went by train in a Roomette. She says you will fall down on the top bed. But next morning, she is upset on how tight space it is. I slept like a rock. I am a sailor and the rocking of the train put me to sleep. If you go, try the cheese cake with strawberry topping. Also, the Argus steak and burger is great. I gained eight pounds. She got mad at me Victoria, and stomp out. I took pictures like mad. She came back and we went to the gardens. They are beautiful, even for non-flower person like me.
Now we plan to go to the Grand Canyon by train. Moreover, we are taking the LA to New Orleans. We will go up to Atlanta to see my niece and her kids. Then up to NYC and the Bronx where my little girl lives. From NYC to Chicago by train, we will go through the top part of the US.
Not bad for a guy who hates to travel.

There are many, many choices out there, not just oversized men’s clothes or teeny, tiny women’s clothes. Shop around and find something that is flattering to your shape, Cathy!

Happy late Sunday, clan! It’s my mom’s birthday today. Happy, happy birthday, Mom!! I love you so much!!! ♥♥

If you heard a guy call you a high maintenance woman, do not expect him to ask you to marry you. Men will like to have fun with you, but you are not the marrying kind.
Number one reason for divorce is finances. A wise man should select a woman who is careful with money. My wife loves yard sales. She found four $200 chairs for $20 each in mint condition. She makes me go to various stores, looking for the better prices. She cuts coupons. She plans meals that save money but taste good.
I thought I was tight, but she beats me.

Happy Birthday to your Mom, lightenup!!
What happened is that men design women’s clothing and they are not thinking about comfort :)
The stylish clothing is too small for girls today, let alone women — that’s why we see teens pulling their skin tight skirts down as they creep up and show all. Blubber revealing halters are also not very becoming. I often shop in the men’s dept and I am not overweight.

1967 is 47 years ago. Do you remember Midland? I don’t. I don’t remember the war. My kids grew so fast, I just have pictures that remind how cute they were. For some reason, when I see that old picture of you in jeans, some pain comes in the heart. But that girl is long gone. It is funny when you reach 65 like that old Beatle song. Life has been good for me. Wish life is good for you. BC

The Duchess of Cambridge – though at least they were wedges not stilettos.
