Newlyweds Cathy and Irving navigate the treacherous waters of couple-hood. From pampered pets to prying parents, they’ve got a lot to learn! Wedding or not, it’s still all about Cathy - she personifies the young career woman and her typical daily obstacles. Ice cream, panic attacks, stress and love are all in a day’s work. We read, we identify, we laugh. Who could ask for more?
Cathy is the Everywoman. She deals with diets, self-esteem, in-laws, and letting her husband know that she is the boss. Everyone can identify with her shopping, bills, taxes, planning for the future and coping with her husband’s incessant computer golf games. Whether you are a newlywed, single, or have been married for decades, all will enjoy the daily predicaments of Cathy and Irving.

When I did tech support, we would call that the “spray and pray” method.
Hello Cathy Clan!! Thank you so much for the sweet messages yesterday! (Loved the little cheerleaders, GsMom! :-))
My other news is that the neurologist’s office finally called me back yesterday (almost a week later) to say that the doctor will see me again. Unfortunately the next available appointment is June. So irritated… really? Now, I am debating about looking for another neurologist. The advantage to this guy is that he’s the director of the MS center so I know he’s very knowledgable. The downside is that he’s hard to get an appt with and I’m pretty sure that he’ll push me into taking drugs. But I will give him one more chance, I think.
The good news is that my symptoms are getting better, so even if I did see him now, it’s almost too late. Sigh…
Best wishes to all of you with dental issues!! They are extremely painful and I hope you all get them resolved painlessly and inexpensively.

Good morning all. This time I am the opposite of Cathy. I would never sit and wait. lol Lightenup, I feel your frustration. Waiting for a Dr. Appt. so long is not fun.

you lay out what you want men to see, but it isn’t you. Then you wonder why you aren’t happy.

This outfit — especially with the sideways baseball cap — isn’t really any better than the sweatsuit she was wearing previously so why did she even bother to change at all? Meanwhile, if she spreads all this junk out on a table, no man is going to approach her (even if he wanted to) because she appears to be either too busy to be bothered or because she’s such a workaholic that she’d never have time for him. Any way you slice it, it’s doubtful that Cathy is going to meet “Mr. Right” tonight!
Hello and Happy Tuesday fellow “Cathy” fanatics. Hope everyone’s having a really great day so far!

Hi Cathyites!! Sorry your doctor is giving you such a hard time lightenup. Cathy doesn’t need a man — her life is already full.
