Mom and Dad enjoyed their motel stays much more before they became Mom and Dad.

Tigers…and other “stuffed” animals…breathe for their children…why, Calvin would ask, would anyone believe any different?! ;)

I downshift every five seconds. Sometimes a miss a shift and really grind the gears.

I honestly can sympathize with Calvin. It’s very comforting to have something soft, furry and snuggly lying next to you as you sleep.

My cat visits me for 10 minutes when I’m in bed and then goes to another part of my home. Unfortunately, when she sleeps in my bed, her tail (she’s part Persian) is always in my face.

I’ve heard people say they “get used” to a snoring spouse and “don’t hear it anymore”. It’s been 32 years, and I still haven’t got used to it.

Earplugs saved my marriage, and possibly my husband’s life (sleep deprivation can make you psychotic).

And who ever said that women do not snore?

They worked for me too, until I developed tinnitus. Don’t like to be stuck with that instead! So I read a lot.

Nobody. I snore, hubby snores, cat purrs…

Used to live on a long upgrade where the sound of trucks shifting was pretty well constant. When we moved out to the country, I had trouble sleeping with all the quiet.
