    Boys’ toys are catching up fast. Yesteryear’s metal toy car or truck that cost a few bucks and lasted through incalculable abuse for years has transformed into a mostly plastic gizmo that is battery powered (with remote control, of course) and has a life expectancy shorter than the drive home from the store, with a cost into three digits that they don’t want anyway.

    @Dha Dha

    There is still flooding around Boulder (Northwest of Denver) and it’s still raining. I heard from a friend and she was able to drive out of Boulder and into Denver yesterday afternoon.

    I don’t have the skills that Dad has for working with his bike, but fortunately I have friends who help. Five or six of us are going on a 36 mile bike excursion today. I hope and pray that my almost new bike (and I) can keep up with the others.

    Loveland, Co here.

    Had a lot of streets flooded and people were having trouble getting around, a few areas were evacuated, the worst has passed for now

    Our part of the city had a lot of rain but no flooding, we got out and about fine and I made it to my job and back without any serious problems

    The only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys!
