    I’ve always referred to kid’s that i’m fond of as yardapes, anklebiters,carpet crawlers, porch monkeys, mud magnets, virus carriers etc. The few i don’t care for are plain old kids!

    Unclebewey — Hate to point this out, but I’ve never heard “porch monkeys” used in reference to children. It’s a racist term, and that’s all I’m going to say.

    No responsible scientist thinks humans evolved from monkeys, either. Both species shared a common ancestor way up the line (about 25 million years ago), but at best we’re distant cousins. More info here:
