Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

Sorry son, the Earth is only 6,000 years old and fossils are God’s way of testing your faith.

Nobody ignores the dinosaur vote in Chicago. The cemeteries there are good for at least 10,000 votes!

Don’t worry Calvin, there’s lots of pandering going on. In case you’re wondering: Pander – verb
to act as a pander; cater basely: to pander to the vile tastes of vulgar persons.

I honestly thought ‘discombobulate’ was a made-up word but now I’m looking for opportunities to tell someone I’m disconcerted or confused…

Yeah. And now it is all of our moral obligation to inform the kids of today about that stuff about Adam and Eve riding around on the dinosaurs. Especially the kids in Texas. This is a very Texan kind of meme, any way you look at it. Riding around on T. rex and roping the brontosaurs. Yee-haw!

Discombobulation is the sort of thing that results from really good non sequitors, paradigm fails, reality shifts, stuff like that. It’s not exactly something people do to you. It’s more like a sudden realization that you don’t have a clue about what is actually going on.
