Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

Odds have it that Calvin had Fox News on. It’s the most tabloid news.

My sympathy and prayers go out to the all the people of Minnesota who have experienced damage to their homes in the horrific floods. I’ve just read about it on the Archmax website.

A sadder commentary on today’s reporting. A half-hour local news broadcast breaks down to maybe five minutes of actual news; the rest is commercials, talking about what they’re going to tell you later, and traffic, weather, and sports sound bites- (More when we come back!) Tune in tomorrow for our extensive in-depth report on our intensive investigation into blatherskype,

What with Judge Judy, Wheel of Fortune, and The Biggest Loser I don’t have time for news.

I thot the 3-minute MTV videos were ruining America’s attention spans. Now we’ve got 140-byte Twitter messages, which are unaccountably not called “twits”. And I see that they’re planning a TV series about the 7 dwarfs (no Snow), but they don’t think the audience will sit still for a title that long, so they’re calling it “The 7D”.

that is all cable news from fox, cnn, and msnbc. they spent 5 minutes on a piece on how to say 2010. is it 2000 and 10 or 20, 10 or 2010…not very informative.
