We all know Calvin is never going to listen to Hobbes here. Hobbes is making sense…

If one uses a time machine to go WAY back into the past and kills some one who may have been his ancestor, then he will cease to exist, which means he would not exist to go back into the past to kill that distant ancestor, which means he will exist, which means…oh fuggetaboutut.

Calvin COULD go to the year 2099, write the paper there, and travel back in time. I guess.

He should go far enough into the future to see if he graduates.

I think he should go into the future atleast until the next day to see what happens in the class.

    Even better…Who made Kirk’s glasses?
McCoy bought them as “Antique Frames” in the 24th century, then Kirk travels back in time, and hocks them in the 20th century, so they are in the store in San Francisco until McCoy can buy them in the 24th century!
They have ALWAYS existed in a closed loop in time!

Yup — and the story gets written (but not by the three Calvins).
