    I think, Hobbes didn’t like the trip in the box, he doesn’t look very happy!

    In a solipsistic worldview, that can actually happen.

    Solipsists are crazy

    So Calvin is expecting his future-self to do the job?

    I have bad news for Calvin. We Trekkies know enough about time traval to know that if he went to the future, he wasn’t in the present to do his homework, so the whole idea is self defeating. sorry.

    If Hobbes had been thinking outside the box, he wouldn’t have gone into the box!

    @Ken Warner

    You are partially correct. From one Trekkie to another: Calvin had to start his homework in the first place, before his 8:30 self could finish what had started. He can’t acquire what had never existed.

    Dig those crazy time travel special effects! Calvin is too young for this to be an acid flashback. Maybe he does acid in the future and this is a flash forward?

    Surely it doesn’t work, but it is a pleasant imaginagion not to do the homework! Don’t take away the imagination!

    On Memorial Day here in the U.S., here is a tribute to all who have fought for freedom, anywhere in the world. We can’t thank you enough.
