    My third grade teacher, Miss Stevens, is one of my fondest memories. That poor old maid was the ugliest woman God ever put on this earth. Her face looked like a frog – high cheek bones, no chin, and bug yes. She did love teaching and most all her students went on to do well. She had a beautiful soul inside.
