Oh, no! They can’t shoot the Plymouth just because it has two broken axles! Poor little green driver Broomie….

FWIW, there’s a famous comic by Bill Mauldin circa WWII of a GI shooting his Jeep. link

This makes me think of MASH when Frank ran over Col. Potter’s Jeep with a tank. Col. Potter shoots the Jeep.

Don’t you dare shoot that ‘56 Plymouth. In restored condition, it’ll bring a cool 100K at Barrett-Jackson

I had a 1977 Dodge Aspen. It had over 300,000 miles. It never left me walking. It gave its all up to the very end. When it did go it did it in the front yard on a Friday afternoon. The back axle went. I miss that car.

This car has gone down a cliff crashed in to a tree drove to a lake. Not to worry Broomie this car will last another 100 years.

Broomie could always donate it to Cosmo Fishhawk in lieu of his ailing pink Caddie (or whatever model it is).

It’s a Desoto. And it is also part of the Chrysler family.
