    Mm-mm, endless desserts, preferably chocolate.

    Good morning, LB.

    Vanilla pudding is good. Very, very good.

    Dessert is one food that most kids will eat.

    MARG! Do you ever get snow where you are? We
    got our first measurable amount yesterday here.

    @Llewellenbruce

    Is that early for your area? Yes we get snow, but it’s usually gone in a day or two.

    On “drone” education, that statement is correct Nerwin — and has been since prior to 1861!

    Pretty daunting, isn’t it, Nerwin? So many branches on the tree of Education, and nowadays so few crutches to hold them up….

    Aye oddly ’tis the pity that there always seems to be more desert to go ’round and not enough REAL food to feed the masses. M.A. said it best before she lost her head,probably the reason she did;“Let them eat cake”. Nerwin should consider himself lucky indeed!

    That’s nothing. My 8th grade history books (NY State history) were from the early 30s when the teacher started her career and when she taught my grandfather! Assignments to locate the towns mentioned in the text were a nightmare – many had long since disappeared. But my absolute favorite question – What changes do you think will take place in the telephone by 1950? That was 15 years before we took the class (and before we were born to boot!).

    Endless desserts would lead to a vast sickness and swearing off of sweets after all the binging.

    The deserts are growing, but I preferred desserts myself. How about you?

    That is funny…I should say tragic though…But the books were not as bad as the films they showed us..we could not stop laughing to even know what the film was supposed to be about…old old old films…
