Stormtrooper blaster … unable to hit the broad side of a barn door.
Dalek. Impervious to all weapons … unless it gets hit by a van(Daleks :Invasion Earth 2150)
Star Trek Holodeck: Lots of fun… until it inevitably malfunctions and tries to kill you.

Let’s have Brewster review the Alien Brain Probe.
He has a few comments about the side effects.

Intermix Chamber/ Warp Core. Overloads at the slightest provocation. All safeguards malfunction when overload is desired by screenwriter.
Bridge instrumentation explodes rather than circuit breakers tripping when ship is damaged.
Replacement of superconducting wire with plasma conduits means a reduction in energy transferrable and makes for severe problems when conduit is inevitably damaged.
Enterprise D Sickbay. Systems unable to save patients that original USS Enterprise Sickbay could save.
Auxilliary Control. Entire ship can be taken over by any person. No security clearance needed to run controls.

Um…. didn’t Dr. Mel design the Killbots himself?

Coyoty… I hope they use those disposable probulator covers.

Tardis: it only looks bigger on the inside (actually, you get smaller when you go through the door).

Just about any space ship or submarine: contains multiple small black holes that pull crewmen in opposite directions when the ship hits turbulence. Two stars.

    All 23rd Century Super-Computers:
Inexplicable design flaw that results in destruction after listening to logic from Captain James Tiberius Kirk.
Star Fleet Uniform – Red Shirt:
    No reviews yet…

Scotty survived wearing a red shirt for five years, and I don’t remember any computers self-destructing after listening to Captain Kirk. Then again, I’ve not watched that many episodes involving Kirk.

I believe the count is five computers that Kirk has talked to death in The Original Series. Can not name the episodes though.

Worst job on the Enterprise, the poor ensign that has to clean up the holodeck after the several crewmen used it to visit Brothelworld
