When Winky comes to, remind him that clouds don’t have contrails.

    Brewster:Hey … that one looks like a spleen … but it’s getting smaller … as if it’s moving away…

Only two asteroids with a diameter of 2 to 3 m (6.5 to 10 ft) are likely to hit the Earth each year. Since 70.8% of the earths surface is water, there is only a 29.2% chance that the asteroid will hit land. There are 148,939,100 km² (57,505,708 mi²) of surface area for asteroid to hit. Of this maybe 42% is ‘habitable’, ie, grassy hillside.

When you crunch these numbers, and calculate the odds, you will discover that Winky is a very, very unlucky boy.

Anyone under Brewster’s command can be considered “unlucky”. Technicality, but given the basis of this comic, Winky and Brewster are not necessarily on the Earth. In fact, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen them on the Earth at all. They are likely on some alien planet plagued by spleen-seeking meteors.
