It can be self lit when it catches fire on the 4th of July.

If Punxsutawney Phil can see the tree’s shadow, it can stay up until spring.

Enjoyed not only today’s strip but all your light-hearted comments. Brewster’s song is so catchy I think I’ll keep my (artificial pink) tree up until February 2. Here’s hoping the groundhog doesn’t see any shadows so spring comes soon! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We keep ours up through all 12 days of Christmas. Unless, of course, we can’t be bothered, then it stays until there are no needles.

Brewster might have had a better chance if he hadn’t sung it to the tune of the William Tell Overture . . . ☻

People, people, Christmas is not over yet, it has just begun. The 12 days of Christmas do not stop on December 25th, they start on December 25th.

Leave the tree up until Epiphany.

“What inspired you to finally take down the tree?”

    “I had an Epiphany.”
