Awww! “Pet the Cook!” I love it! Mmmm, what cat could turn down a kibble tart? Now I know who Tommy kinda reminds me of . . Eek the Cat! Does anyone remember the cartoon Eek! the Cat? I imagine Eek’s voice when Tommy speaks.

My only serious complaint about the 4-panel daily strips: the colors. If Tommy’s that somewhat insipid color, what will Mouse and Burt look like?

What, the same cat in the yard? Did they move to a bigger place on the same block and the cats only thought it was a long car ride?
Does anyone else have trouble with the capital H in the new font? My brain always wants to see it as “I t” or maybe a number.
