Quite some time ago, the U.S. was into looking for ways to provide developing countries access to small nuclear plants, rather than on traditional fuels, nuclear is out of favor, but we’re still doing pretty good work with wind/solar, and other alternatives that work in these small and remote communities, without having to develop huge, and costly, transmission systems. We could do more of the same right here at home.
