I have yet to hear a nonproliferation expert who doesn’t think that it was a huge step forward — Vox and Slate have some great interviews on the topic if you want to see what an amazing agreement this was from experts, not ideologues. The idea that allowing their sites to be inspected will help them get a bomb is such a huge clash of mental gears that only truly irrational Obama-haters like Gorrell and Netenyahu are able to suspend belief on the issue.
