    That only works as an “out” with the ones who can’t do math.

    People who demand honest answers are seldom ready to hear them.

    With a face like that she’s gotta’ have something going for her …

    (Cue howls of feminist outrage …).

    Why all of a sudden we’re jumping back some years?

    Must have been when Breathed had that accident a while back.

    @langchris70

    langchris70 – this is reprints of a strip from the ‘80s – of course it’s way out of date. Berke Breathed has had two other strips since Bloom County.

    @GorgoloChick

    Langchris70’s question is a valid one – why did we jump from the late ’80s strips to the early ’80s strips? The chronology of our time travel is disjointed.

    @dukedoug

    Would you say the same about men? Men still rule and most of them are white and in the top 20%.

    I’m surprised she didn’t use her slide rule.

    Most men are various shades of brown from a very pale tan to very dark brown. Most men are not albino.
    And if most men are in the top 20% (of what?) does that mean that men are in the minority with women making up almost 80% of the population?

    @NathandeGargoyle

    I think he’s saying that of the 20% of the population that is in power financially and politically, most are white males. Perhaps caucasian is a better term.

    Did the final two panels get flip-flopped?
