The two-way mirror, sometimes called a one-way window, is just a half-silvered piece of glass. The view is one-way from a dark room into a light room. If the formerly light room goes dark, and the formerly dark room is lit, vision goes the other way. So, they don’t need a new mirror, they need someone who knows what they are doing.
