    It’s funny Bluemel did this … I’m writing a short essay on how signs are pretty universal. For example, if you were in an Arabic county and saw the sign below, based solely on it’s shape, boarder, and background you’d know it was a stop sign.

    Also, in Greek, they are Stasis signs: Stasis being the Greek for stop, taken over into English as a process that has been stopped.
