Gals like shopping, guys like the Three Stooges. If they had a store that dealt exclusively with Three Stooges merchandise…

What’s so bad about going into a shoe store? jeez…

@torn
The guys have gone to “buy” school stuff, hence the 2 hour limit. She has gone to shop, hence the all day of trying on and looking, before deciding . Even for shoes.

Next time be more clear – we are going to spend a few hours shopping for school at Office Depot. Once you bring in the word MALL you have to deal with all the stores.

Back to school used to mean Sears. Wasn’t much of a selection and the stores weren’t connected to malls back then. Even with four girls, we got out in a few hours.

Here’s the deal: sometime ago when they were back-to-school shopping, Ellen spent a looong time in the shoe store. When Marty said it was time to go, she was STILL in the shoe store. She had finally picked one after about an hour and a half or something like that, but then she said that she still had 8 stores left. That’s why she’s always unreliable to be on her own in stores

There may not be a Three Stooges store, but there is The Stoogeum:

Nate and his Dad might as well find a couple of husband chairs and take a seat. It’s going to be a looooooooong day with Ellen along.

@Adam Nedens(Snoopster)
Up here in Maine, it’s unheard of for kids to start school in August. It usually starts the day after Labor Day.
