    I’ve been keeping track, out of the last 100 strips 2 have been mildly amusing, none have been hilarious. They should have let this strip die with the artist. I keep hoping the boy will grow into it but its not looking very hopeful.

    Not all cartoons are meant to be amusing. Some achieve their goal in other ways. Also, different people have different ideas of what is amusing. I, personally, find he’s doing a great job.

    I must disagree. But then you can’t please everyone.

    this cartoon will not age well at all, referencing issue in headline that will be quickly forgotten. The real B.C. by Hart did not suffer from that. This “artist” who inherited J. Hart’s fame and work is just using the characters for random political cartooning, the strip has lost its way, look and feel. Best to just put it down like a broken work horse.

    I hate to break it to you, but it is your sense of humor which is dying.
    This one was quite funny even though too close to home.

    From what’s been in the news I think it’s more likely they bring the usual kind of “escorts.”

    @Ralph Ziggy

    You could find plenty of current events referenced all along but might not recognize at the time or after they were old news.
    Schultz, for example, made one comment on the Vietnam “Conflict” but even having been told afterward that was what it was nobody could be sure what he was saying.
