Deadbeat dads? My generation mostly had its kids by a small percent of men and some dufuss with 20 kids by 15 women is not exactly going to be around.

I often wondered about, why women seem to carry the small children on their left hip all the time. Left handed women should carry the infant on the right hip,to free the left hand,of the mother.

I tend to carry my baby on my right hip because my left hip is bad and starts to seriously hurt if he’s on my left for too long.

Sigh. Stop posting your generalizations based on the small world in which you grew up in. If you claim them to be true, then cite your sources or at least state that this was true in the area where you grew up.
(Disclaimer: I use the phrase “grew up” loosely in my post.)

I’m ambidextrous but was born left-handed, so I always carried my children on my right hip.

I always used my right hip, even though I’m right-handed. Diaper bag on the left shoulder, baby on the right hip! ;-) Awww… I miss those days…
