    I once watched a guy fishing for three hours. he didn’t catch a single thing. He sure wasted his time.

    I love to go fishing, drink beer and just relax; doesn’t matter whether I catch anything because the fish market is on the way home.

    Never had the patience for fishing. While a good excuse t go out in the woods, there were better ones like hiking or berry picking. Even in high school the fish were outnumbered in oregon by the fishermen. Then they got the brilliant idea to go to sport fishing, with it’s 25% mortality each time a fish is caught. Fishing is not as popular as it once was here…

    A PETA ad against fishing was not allowed to be aired during the Oscars (or whatever that awards program for movies is called) recently. As a vegetarian, I don’t eat fish either .. but I did fish as a kid with my dad.

    I respect all viewpoints. When I do go fishing, it’s “catch and release”. Afterall, the fish market IS on the way home.

    When we first got our Motorola Bag Phone, my wife said that now I could take it with me while fishing. First I said no, then looked at her and suggested she really didn’t understand the whole concept of going fishing.
