I am confused about the christian thing here that Hart has shown in the past that he is so on board with.
his brand of christianity must be ok with the age of the earth and with the scientific theory that a meteor decided the fate of the dinosaurs.
or is it that this incident took place 6000 years ago?
but, then, since some christians think that man and dinos lived at the same time, why didn’t the acknowledged life-ending meteor kill all the people too?

Three things; First, Hart no longer does this comic, Masstroianni does it and his ‘theology’ is different. Second, in the scientific community the meteor strike is no longer considered the only possible cause. Now they are looking at a massive epidemic, similar to avian flu. Third, it is a comic and is not meant to make any kind of statement. Ease up and smile.

Johnny Hart’s been dead for five years now. As DoctorLarryO stated, the strip is now drawn by his grandson Mason Mastroianni .
