   Actually, this is utterly nonsensical. Aside from the fact that the Democrats are not remotely Socialist, your portrayal of the media as socialist makes no sense. Yes, there is a concentration of ownership, but it is private ownership, not state ownership. Even the despised Health Care law involves private insurance companies, it is not a single payer system.
   Oh, and if you want the height of parroting, look no further than the GOP which has mastered it. Compare voting records and see who votes in lock-step.

    I am often amused by those who throw out the term “socialism” as though it were some great monolithic economic and policitical philosophy. Instead I would ask, are you speaking of reformism socialism, revolutionary socialism, state socialism, libertarian socialism, democratic socialism, utopian socialism or perhaps market socialism? These are all recognized forms of socialism. So are all of these being “forced” on America? Or would like to pick one? Or do you even understand what you are saying well enough to know which one to choose? It might be difficult since none of them do fit the facts. Oops. Sorry, I forgot that facts do not matter.

    Facebook, joined it and left real quick when people started inviting me to weddings and other activities Via facebook and stopped sending out official cards, making personal phone calls. All I have to do is forget to log in for a few weeks and everyone is mad at me for not coming to their events that they ONLY invited me to attend via facebook.

    Well said, cdward. But time & time again, you can stack up facts a mile high & the far right will continue to believe the lies that have been repeated over & over enough times that they mistake them for the truth. It is the far right that is in lockstep with what comes down from the top. The only exception that I can recall happened with this year’s primary; and even after Mitt Romney “won” the primaries, ALL got behind him & the far right’s platform while holding their noses. I guess ALL, with the exception of Ron Paul.
