I love how Rocket Hat’s escape sequences are always off screen.

Oh yeah, if Rocket Hat is so cool, how come he keeps getting captured all the time? Some superhero/alterego!

Since the villain referred to his father in the past tense, this escape seems to have involved his being beaten savagely along the time dimension as well as the spatial dimensions. So it didn’t end like the others after all.

It is really bad when the antagonist is treated as a two dimensional cypher. So much is lost from the story. It is so much better if they are fully fleshed out. Like The Master from Dr. Who (?) especially during the Pertwee years played so ably by Roger Delgado. Suave, evil, delightful, sinister and brilliant.

Obviously he relishes the opportunity to beat up moon men.
