    Must be one of those bark-to-bark property lines.

    Reggie has the better eyesight, so he sits up high.

    Since Reggie marks his territory regularly, his keen nose leaves no room for doubt.

    This is the problem with retired acrobats and animal acts living on Ballard Street. Life to them is still a three ring circus.

    @margueritem

    Bud is hoping that Reggie doesn’t mark his territory right now.

    And I can’t think of a finer pastime for good ole’ Bud and Reggie.

    Welcome back, Ling!

    I just baked these snickerdoodles to help you get settled into your new digs!

    Would you like a nice tall “Southern Breeze” to go along with those?

    To use that great Minnesota expression: :*Ya Betchya ! "
    I have sooo missed your snickerdoodles , especially accompanied by one of Fenton’s Fabulous Southern Breezes

    @Linguist

    Well, he’s made a large pitcher of the ‘breeze’ and be sure to take the rest of those snickerdoodles home with you to your new apt.

    See you tomorrow!

    Hullo all…..

    Nice to see that Bud has been making such great progress in his origami pants class….

    And that he’s filling his retirement with all sorts of other activities as well.

    Mildred told me, when I was glittering her hair last fall,
    that she was worried that she’d have him constantly underfoot….
    maybe even have to miss some of her Ballard Ladies Ikebana & Sausage Society (BLISS) meetings….

    But now she’s even beginning to think he spends more time bonding with Reggie than with her.

    It’s all right, though, she told me last week.
    She and Miss Fluff (the 20 pound Persian) have a special bond of their own.

    (I even do their nails the same shade of Passion Purple!)

    Meanwhile…. I’m glad everybody liked the pies…..
    Today (still Friday here) was the last… I hope… in a series of busy days…

    Tomorrow…. well, later “today” to most of you, I suppose….
    I hope to relax and bake 187 more key lime pies….
    and whatever else strikes my fancy.

    Please leave any requests at the pie shop with the bunny ladies…

    And stop by the salon any time after noon for coffee….
    drop-in haircut clients also welcome.

    Edclectic…

    Bev makes lots of snickerdoodles.
    Hang around here long enough I’m sure you’ll get some of them…
    and my pies and banana bread.

    And the Tiki runs great specials on yak ribs…
    sometimes in combos with banana daiquiris.
