    My goodness, there was a flurry of activity shortly before changeover.

    @Shika
    @Ling

    Ok, I’m willing to concede that there might possibly be a wee bit too much glitter in the atmosphere. I’m not sure what is going on with it. Susan had some good ideas about it just before changeover.

    Anyway, I think we should appeal to Stormy tomorrow (well, that is later today) and ask if she would take one of her deep breaths and blow all the glitter out of Ballard County. She can do that you know. It’s her favorite method of housekeeping in the lighthouse and she’s helped me out a time or two when I’ve got a bit behind in my dusting at the farmhouse.

    @Stormy

    Whadd’a ya say? Would you mind very much? Just please do be sure not to disturb the 514 hats Shika and I made. Don’t want to lose those!

    Hey, Fireman You’re looking mighty nice tonight. I see you have a bit of very fine glitter on your, um, chest and suspenders. How bout a margarita? With a filter, please.

    …. pant…. pant….

    OH…. everybody’s here!

    I was stuck on the wrong side of the turn.

    I had just offered you a margarita back there, Bev.

    Wow, Fireman…. you’re very early for your Thursday night shift!

    And lookin’ mighty spiffy, too.

    Yes, don’t worry, I’m sure Ms. Beviek is impressed.

    Buster aka Scooter has been planning this for a long time. He is particularly targeting gentlemen of a certain age who are under the delusion that they look good in shorts, white soxs, and boxer shorts that peek out from under their shorts.
    Way to go doggie !

    @SusanSunshine

    Don’t worry about it, Susan, I’ll go back to yesterday and grab that margarita.

    Sometime Fireman works a double shift. Can’t get too much fireman.

    That’s a great idea, Bev, about Stormy…

    What say you, Storm?
    I remember you easily cleaning up a huge feather mess.

    It was before the turn.

    Red, that one was really good for dancing (even without any shoes right now) but I’ll be goin up to bed as soon as I finish my tea. They had a real Big Band sound (for such a small group) with a little black flair too. I think I saw a comment that Louis Prima did that arrangement, not surprized!
