   but along with the Sheriff’s department, I believe in rehabilitation.

   
   We’ve worked far too long and hard on establishing equal rights for all species in Ballard County….

   
   giving animals the vote, electing a dog to the County Supervisors and their appointing another the Chief of Police….
   and of course, electing our good friend the Monkey our Sheriff.

   
   We can’t suddenly have vigilantes gunning for every cat they see,
   which would be the aftermath of unrestrained license to use firepower.
