She never seems too interested when he goes on his history trivia monologues, but doesn’t discourage him, either. Bless her heart!

The way things are going with our government right now, I’m not too sure of that. Love the veterans, they are awesome.

Canada has Remembrance Day. No matter what you call it, never forget.

This past Saturday was the final toast of Doolittle’s Raiders. They planned that the final toast would be when only two survivors remained but decided that since the 4 of them were in their 90’s and suffering ill health (one couldn’t travel to make the toast) they had better make the final toast this year.

Thanks to all Veterans for your service!

I’m normally not very serious on here but as a 20 vet, I truly appreciate those before me and the young folks getting it done today. Navy Chief, Navy Pride.

Thank you seems so hollow to what you Vets have and are doing for our country. The sacrifice of your time, body and even life is more than what a mere Thank You can cover.

Arlo is correct, wars don’t go on forever, but war does.

I’m a veteran, but I have to work today. But the Post Office takes the day off, with pay. I don’t get it. Are mailmen all veterans?

In France, after the last French WWI veteran passed away in 2012, it has become Memory Day (Memorial?) for all the soldiers who died for France.
