Every time I see Andy play football/soccer, I’m surprised to figure he’s an athletic type.

Is this a repeat? It seems familiar.

In the old days, Andy would have punched out the ref too, for stopping his fun

Aye Mickeyj,but Andy’s learned that THAT will result in NO GAME for Andy. ’Tis far better to punch out a member of the opposing team,than the ref.

Good old Andy, always good for a daily laugh.

I used to play rugby with a guy who got not a fight every time he played. When I nursed him while he was being treated for a heart condition some twenty years later I learned that he was a very heavy drinker. I thought then that he might have been related to Andy.

@Bruno Zeigerts
It’s based on an old joke, so it could be fair to say that all the Sunday panels are padding this week.
Mikey & John Pike – I replied to both of you before the change over.

@Mikeyj.
How’s this for an extraordinary coincidence? I’ve just realised where I’ve seen today’s football gag. It was in one of the other 5 one off sitcoms I referred to before the change over starring Ronnie Barker! The theme was about an amateur local football team.
Spooky!
Number Six said, 2 months ago
…Barker played the manager and the whole team ran around the pitch, kissing and hugging eachother simply because they won the toss at the start of the game!

I see that the violent element is still alive in this strip.
I’m just glad it’s not Flo he’s beating up on.

LOL LOL… This strip cracked me up.
Especially with the referee in the 5th panel.
Welcome back, Clouds of Dust!

Sounds like the ‘sawmill’ was going overtime. From what I hear, Minn. has more unrelenting cold and snow than what I get here in Boulder valley. I rigged up a heat gun today to insure that the silicone is fully cured before putting the antifreeze back in. Past experience with leakages promises that the leak will only be reduced and will need a do over. Keep reminding myself that to keep the disappointment to a minimum. I will take it for a drive tomorrow.
Yes.
From what it sounds like… It’s a good thing I don’t live there either! It’s been snowing on and off today and the sun’s been out. It’s snowing quite rapidly now.
I also hope you don’t get anymore ‘leakages’ either. Ewww…
I hope you’re doing OK.
