   I spoke too soon about winter being over
   we had torrential rain on Sunday and yesterday we had hailstones the size of tennis balls in certain areas. Over our house they were the size of ping pong balls, they nearly tore off the leaves of our lemon tree

    Gosh, Glad it wasn’t worse for you. Friends of mine in a different town, had to have their roof, garage, deck and patio and some windows replaced because of baseball size hail. Very dangerous.

    No, it requires great skill to master a racing form or figure out the football pools in England. Andy spends a great deal of time and effort on them but most often comes up short. Whereas, Flo will bet on the jockey’s colors, her favorite number or the animal’s name and win ! So much for the science of the sport !
