   we had a wonderful day yesterday
   First Arthur visited and my Princess had fun showing me utube sites and re -instructed me how to use our threadmill
   Then in the evening Alex came over and Timmy made me watch kiddie proprams on tv

    actually, this strip is the work of Young’s longtime assistant Jim Raymond, who took over drawing the strip in the 50s, when Chic Young became legally blind (A common ailment amongst cartoonists), when Young died, his son took over writing the strip and the byline became “Young & Raymond” until the latter’s death in 1981
