    Well Oopsters,

I can hardly argue with Wizer about that, but then again planning to send dinosaurs to attack Moo is not exactly sane either.

    This is getting good.

Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 18 “The Everlasting Man-thing”(76) 5/27/2013 Monday

    Panel One

Gommer in his previous life was a Ranger, special forces. In Louisiana he is a “red-bone” a black Indian or a red Negro depending on the person who meets him—-some of the Seminole in him. He was tough, and skilled in tracking and fighting. (Probably why he was selected to be resurrected from his death. ) It made him leadership material. Most of his memories are gone, but some linger. However his skills remain in his nervous system. He assessed his charges. The woman, Kayla, moves like a panther and strikes like a snake. Her knife work is top notch, she just needs to learn to work with others.

The man, Sop, is too large and ungainly, but he has use for that weight in a fight that can act like the proverbial lever to move the world, or at least win a fight.

    Panel Two

Till she reaches a higher level of being, Corinne must rely on artifacts including her wand. Specially made from specific elements prepared & treated in such a way as to be the perfect antenna. She will need it if they are all going to survive this night.(She has already slowed her aging quite a bit.)

    Panel Three

Baldander has been figuring in three dimensional space its movements and probable trajectories to escape the Vampire ship’s stun beam and the other beings attempting to stop and capture it. Baldander moves in such a way as to get the two Lubins, Taz and Babu, to collide as they simultaneously jump to intercept Baldander! They howl and growl angrily snapping at each other.

I contend that Wizer has a persecution complex. He is motivated by it to become angry and vengeful. A chip that Alley could knock off of his shoulder for him.

Yes, he has had that complex going back to the 1940’s in the strip. Usually his connivings were more clever than what is being proffered here however.

…says the man who nearly destroyed the kingdom in his ploy to get ‘attention’. Wizer might be mis-named.

APOI: writing with a Bostonian accent? I got a good chuckle to see ‘author’ for Arthur… that’s better than the comedy of the strip… where a clearly disturbed “wizer” calls Guz ‘insane’… or as my mother would have said: " the pot calling the kettle black ".

Memorial Day Greetings to the Benders and the readers of Alley Oop. From the look on Wizer’s face, you can tell he has
met, as Anne Shirley use to say, a kindred spirit which for
Guz and Moo isn’t a good thing. I wouldn’t recommend
Wizer trying anything when he gets out. Moo basically
ignores him. It is Guz or Alley who ask for his help. If he
goes after Guz , his standing in the community would be a
negative 5 and time to go on a journey to find enlightenment
    with wannabe Doowee.

Wizer and King Guz aren’t mad in the sense of lost sanity as the lawyers say. Just mad as in angry.

Remember those that sacrificed it all for our great country. For they are true heroes.

Mistake yes, but by whom, the writer or the auto spell? Even when its me, I blame the auto spell.

Gus is crazy? I think not. Crazy was sending drugged dinoaurs to assault Moo because his feeings were hurt, that was crazy. Going into a country that you do not know or understand is laws and government and trying to imposwe the laws of your land is also crazy. Wizer and Doowee ought to be thankful that Gus has plced them in a “time-out” indstead of exacting the usual punishment for treason and sedition, which is death.
