    Good morning, folks . . .

Well, this, for those whose newspapers don’t carry Alley Oop on Sunday, Is getting interesting.

It appears he dropped the blue book on the way to the Pit and the red one at the edge, although the red one could drop in. Will be interesting to see if he has both books in the Pit. Not sure why Oop is questioning Guz.

Now we can expect to see Wimpy Alley arguing with Guz all this week about whether or not the King has the right to kick a lawyer into the Pit.

Doowee’s being held in contempt of Guz’s court.

Great story. The trolls will never admit it, but it is.

I expect that Alley and Guz will talk about who this Doowee is for the week and then we’ll get to see what Wizer and Doowee have to say to each other next week.
I’d like to see NightGaunt’s version of Alley Oop in a movie, but not by the ‘dark’ creator of the most recient Batman nor Star Trek.

A lawyer without his books is like a critic without subject matter to trash. Here’s an opportunity to start making positive comments for a change.

Good Morning Benders and all. Slow day Monday.
Not much lift to Doowee by Guz’s kick. Guz launched
him into the pit but misjudged the weight of Dowee’s
lofty thoughts. Guz definitely won’t be offered a punt
returner position in the NFL, that is if the time machine
    ever gets fixed.

some commenters probably don’t think this is a great story. that does not make them trolls—if someone disagrees with your view they are a troll?
maybe you could explain how this is a great story, from one troll to to another…

I agree. Trolls are the ones who hate all the stories no matter what. I don’t feed trolls, so I’ll pay attention and if you really are one I won’t respond to your posts again. A great story is one I turn to first.

Gee, a whole week to argue about the rule of law, vs. the rule of man. (Yes, that was sarcasm.)
Millions of people have debated that point for thousands of years. It’s still topical.

@ billdi – Thanx, you saved me the trouble of giving Ken a similar response. I haven’t really seen “trolls” on this page. As for the folks who are continually disappointed by the way the Benders handle this strip, I have found them civil and well spoken in their complaints. This story seems better than what they’ve been offering recently with the exception of Alley being somewhat out of character. This doesn’t excuse however, the many dangling plots that have bee abandoned and left unfinished without so much as a “by your leave” in the way of explanation. If this makes me a “troll” in Kens eyes, then so be it. I’ll ignore his posts in the future also.
Btw, if anyone cares to see some genuine “hate and discontent” on a comic forum I suggest a visit to “Funky Winkerbean” over on AZ Central. Those folks do not spare the venom.

    @Rod Gonzalez

So why don’t they do this for Dick Tracy if that’s the way to do it for papers that don’t have a Sunday?
