Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 18* “The Everlasting Man-thing”(69) 5/20/2013 Monday

    Panel One

As the three resurrected corpses move closer Alley, Jinx and Corinne prepare to attack with their nano-edge pseudo-ceramic machetes. Lighter than the steel ones but can cut “anything” as the advertiser stated incessantly.ê They want to cut these three down and take their weapons.

    Panel Two

From what they could tell before the sun faded these three have just a few tell tales of decay, like they have kept too long and now they are rotting some. Eyes starting to turn a glassy milky pale, some of their skin is discoloring but they still move as if alive and healthy. What the three know is that Dr. Dark’s perfected reanimation can be timed. So depending on the person, they have to recharge their ectotrophic fields or they will fall apart and bubble to heated black goo—-an organic stew, like time speeded up of the dissolution process. They have 12 hours before that happens.

    Panel Three

Those three have trained together for weeks so that they can link up with this grouping to do the intended task. They are ready with Gommer using hand signals to tell them what to do. He raises a fist to stop then showed them that they are being watched. There task is to capture the Baldander, not fight, so they move off giving Alley, Jinx and Corinne a wide birth as they continue to vector in to the target.
ê An edge so thin it is made up of individual molecules that sever the atomic bonds of other materials it passes through.

It appears he dropped the blue book on the way to the Pit and the red one at the edge, although the red one could drop in. Will be interesting to see if he has both books in the Pit. Not sure why Oop is questioning Guz.

He will be bookless. And his freedom is now compromised, as I surmised as well.

Now we can expect to see Wimpy Alley arguing with Guz all this week about whether or not the King has the right to kick a lawyer into the Pit.

Doowee’s being held in contempt of Guz’s court.

Great story. The trolls will never admit it, but it is.

I expect that Alley and Guz will talk about who this Doowee is for the week and then we’ll get to see what Wizer and Doowee have to say to each other next week.
I’d like to see NightGaunt’s version of Alley Oop in a movie, but not by the ‘dark’ creator of the most recient Batman nor Star Trek.

A lawyer without his books is like a critic without subject matter to trash. Here’s an opportunity to start making positive comments for a change.

Good Morning Benders and all. Slow day Monday.
Not much lift to Doowee by Guz’s kick. Guz launched
him into the pit but misjudged the weight of Dowee’s
lofty thoughts. Guz definitely won’t be offered a punt
returner position in the NFL, that is if the time machine
    ever gets fixed.

some commenters probably don’t think this is a great story. that does not make them trolls—if someone disagrees with your view they are a troll?
maybe you could explain how this is a great story, from one troll to to another…

I agree. Trolls are the ones who hate all the stories no matter what. I don’t feed trolls, so I’ll pay attention and if you really are one I won’t respond to your posts again. A great story is one I turn to first.

Gee, a whole week to argue about the rule of law, vs. the rule of man. (Yes, that was sarcasm.)
Millions of people have debated that point for thousands of years. It’s still topical.
