    Ho boy . . .

Doowee, you are in for it now.

You just had to rile Guz up, didn’t you?

I really AM getting interested in THIS turn of events now!

Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 18 “The Everlasting Man-thing”(66) 5/17/2013 Friday

    Panel One

As the Baldander continues to learn and to plan its escape, the Belo-Radan ship Bellox hovers near scanning where the Baldander is and sending the crew to encircle it for capture.(Even that marvelous device has no idea what the Baldander is turning into. It can detect certain radiations from it but that is all.)

    Panel Two

Alley, with Corinne and Jinx (two agents of Challengers of the Unknown group) back him up. In the jungle the crew of the Bellox are being guided to Baldander. They are a mix of vampires, their lubins, two infected human thralls, and three resurrected corpses [Dr. Dark’s handiwork] make up the compliment of the crew and officers. Though they are tasked to capture they can well defend themselves even without the weapons they have.

    Panel Three

“You are two minutes from go position.” The Bellox tells its crew as it is powering up its stun ray to fire.

A stranger, certainly to Moo and judging by other elements not from that time or place.
    -
He could find himself with Wizer in the pit soon enough.

Attorney Dowee, when you undertake to practice law in a foreign jurisdiction, don’t you think it might be a good idea to learn something about the laws and legal system of said foreign jurisdiction before you try to practice there? Trust me, you’ll save yourself and your would-be clients a lot of trouble!

“Ok, in the pit you go…~!”……Guz is not in a good mood, and
this gentleman could be joining the Wizer.
    Where is this guy from?
Are they feeding Wizer? Does he have water? Don’t even see any place to sit, and take a load off your feet.

I know he must learn a lesson, but Wizer is not young.

Like I predicted yesterday, he’s trying to pull the (prehistoric) Miranda rights ploy…

A stranger, certainly to Moo and judging by other elements not from that time or place.

Could his presence in Moo, then, have a connection with what’s happening with Doc Wonmug in the present?

Hmm….so Guz thinks that because he’s talking about the Constitution and citizens’ rights, Doowee is, therefore, a troublemaker?

WOW! WHO’D HAVE THOUGHT THAT GUZ WAS A COMMUNIST?

    Moo’s constitution has one article.
    1) Gus is the king.

The true villain of this story arc has finally appeared! I’m sure in the next strip, Doowee and Guz will freak out about the floating, disembodied right hand that appeared today in the bottom-left of panel 2!

This strip is just getting unreadable. What went from eager anticipation in the AM has become a dreaded chore. It’s now more like eager anticipation for the blessed day when one storyline finally ends in the hopes that the next storyline is palatable. This used to be my favorite comic strip, rich in a history lesson with a twist and fascinating plot lines to now utter ridiculousness. A lawyer in prehistoric times carrying BOOKS? Honestly, if this is what it has been reduced to I’d rather see them just cancel the strip and find a site where I can re-read all the Alley Oop strips from the beginning.
