Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 17 “Deader Than Dead”(29) 3/1/2013 Friday
Panel One
“Something strange sir, the lock down is being bypassed at certain strategic choke points. We can’t stop the overrides!” Dexter Jones tells General Mann as he follows on his monitor screen.
Panel Two
“Give the locations to the security teams pronto.” Gen. Mann told the tech, adrenaline is building which he has to control. “Yes sir!” Came the reply as he busied himself informing the relevant teams.
Panel Three
Alley puts an ear rig on to get info on where to go to meet the intruders head on. The intruders have gained access to the underground train. He has some special surprises for them.
There’s also something strange about the fins on Dinny’s back in the second panel. Oop seems to be riding alongside of one of them. Or else they have migrated like a flounders eyes to the side of Dinny’s neck. Odd…
You’ll notice Oop’s foot extends to below Dinny’s jawline in the first panel, but barely extends below his eye in the second. Hard to blame that on “vanishing point” or perspective. lol
The stuffed dead bird is magically made to always return to Wizer’s head. At least I will treat it as such, like Alley’s club that would appear and disappear.
I’m guessing that Wizer’s hat is attached by transparent bungies. The switch between the first and second panels has several inconsistencies…first the size change in Dinny, then the fact he seems to have turn the wrong way to face the oncoming dinosaurs, then Oop having to reposition himself so he could stick his right arm between the first and second back fins (which would have been virtually impossible to do from his position in panel 1. I guess this is all part of suspension of disbelief.
Alley Oop is the classic caveman comic strip revolving around the irrepressible Alley Oop, who travels from prehistoric Moo all the way to the 21st century in his friend Doc Wonmug's time machine.

And this is about the third or fourth time Wizer has lost his head gear! But, not to worry, by tomorrow it will magically reappear on his head again!
