    Guess the plot’s thickening even further . . .

Alley had better figure out what Wizer’s REALLY up to . . .

Oh, well Hugopouncies to all Oopsters out there!

    Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 16 “Earth 2 Crisis”(50) 1/19/2013

    Panel One

As they float in the air behind the tall Mokele they see through their special lavender polarized glases strange multicolored balls or globules floating in the air. Some of them on errands, others being put to use in a variety of shapes, textures and hardness.
“Wow, some kind of universal tool.” Lavainge observed.
“I wonder what I could do with it,” Alley Oop responded smiling at the idea of them, better than those hard Maya balls he’s had to deal with.

    Panel Two

“I’d like to take one back, patent it and make enough money to pay back all of my debts,” Oscar said quickly under his breath.
“How beautiful, I’d like to take one back to show my husband and the entire village of Utopia,” Lola adds in wonderment.

    Panel Three

The male Mokele looks back at them way down there and tells them via thought radiations that, [[we will take you to your brethren.]]

Just showing us that Wizer is satisfied and will be using that dinosaur to find others. He has an army to build.

This is going to be a long slog, since Wizer said he was going to hypnotize all the dinosaurs in Moo to attack the Moovians. Just now getting started on the first one. Hard to see how he trains them to attack everyone but him.

I’ve found something extremely interesting. Remember the discussion we had about Alley Oop being ignorant about rubber balls? Then he invented the Alley Oop shot while playing Pitz in 6th century Mesoamerica? Well, check this out. In the Sunday strip of March 10, 2002, Alley and his friends discover a rubber ball that grows on trees. On March 24 they invented the game of basketball. Then, on March 31, Alley invents the “Alley Oop” shot! No kidding! Check it out if you don’t believe me. Carole has gotten so senile, she can’t even remember her own stories! I repeat what I’ve said many times. It is time for the Benders to retire!

Okay, my apologies! I just discovered that GoComics has removed the Sunday strips from that era, so you can’t check out my claim about the March, 2002 Sunday strips. I don’t know where I got them either, but they’re on my hard drive. I checked with IloveComicsArchive.com and their Alley Oop strips stop at 1999. Darn.

Local schools are trying to put in their lesson plans that they will not teach history past 1940.

If you delete or restrict knowledge, you can control quite the populace and there is none to say otherwise, unless the proof is brought forth.

Teresa: that’s a bit scary to have a cut off at 1940.. the next 5 years after that were really important to the contemporary world political structure. A huge change took place within hours on Dec 7, 1941 that made a difference here in Canada and particularly in Europe, as it got the US involved completely in the global conflict. The casualty level in US forces in the Pacific is notable on its own, higher I believe than the Allied forces in the European and African conflict areas. Blocking out WWII seems like a strange and important time to pick for cut off.

Do you mean that they will go back no further than 1940 or skip that period to where in present time or recent history? Either way it is bad. But then an informed people are hard to fool but an ignorant one definitely is easier.

Perhaps you have had a time slip? I wish I could see those myself. It is hard to see all the Alley Oops unless you have the book compilations. Thanx for the added information.

Good Morning Benders and all .Wizers biggest problem is the potion will eventually wear off. 2nd problem has been mentioned He can only control then train the dinosaurs
one at a time. This will take months.
