Lavainge greets Nobu by hugging her warmly. Dr. Tucker is happy that this century’s old terror is gone forever, but he lost lots of his equipment including his prototype Paranormal Neutralizer & Eliminator gun. Turning into a make shift bomb was necessary or they too would have become part of the house. So many ghosts and other things were in it. Now gone or chased away. Maybe he should linger long enough to obtain specimens. He has the special carriers in the truck which is okay. He wonders what the Baroness will do?
Dr. Tucker also has an idea for an anti-ghost bomb. Though it won’t have all that electicity exploding causing all that damage from a hot plasma storm side effect. (They were rushed after all.) He’ll need to work on that later. But first, specimen hunting!
Panel Two
Nobu had seen that the Baroness has two auras which shows she is harboring a spirit tied to her soul. One protected by being in a living person. She wishes she knew how to separate them. But that isn’t her case anyway.
Panel Three
Lavainge waves good by and takes whatever she hadn’t put into the now destroyed mansion from the truck into the Hummer and then she and Alley got in and they took off. Going the other way are fire trucks alerted by the distant neighbors who saw the flashes.
Panel Four
For the Baroness she is both elated at the adventure and sorry that the ancient mansion is now wrecked. However unknown to her the long dead Baron has found that since the explosion he can move freely from her. He can find a use for that! (Must have been a side effect of being near but not too close to that explosion.)

I’m not trying to be hateful to the Benders, I just want them to retire. I’ve always loved Alley Oop and believe it was once one of the world’s greatest comic strips, ranking up there with Li’l Abner, Gasoline Alley, Dick Tracy, and Little Orphan Annie. But since the untimely death of Dave Graue it has degenerated into something that a high school student would find insulting to their intelligence. I would like to see this strip revitalized, like was done recently to Dick Tracy, so Alley Oop can once again take its place as the great comic strip it was meant to be.
All that security agent hears is: blah blah blah BOMB! blah blah blah LIFE-AND-DEATH! blah blah blah…Ava had better be careful. She may be arrested next!
The guards just can’t take any chances. But some people still don’t understand that such levity on their part is not funny. For Alley loose lips could sink his ship.
Naw, let Oop tell the truth. If he is believed, the security threat to time/space becomes more obvious. If he isn’t they all get a nice padded cell, and the Doc gets into a bigger mess.
Ava is using a very effective photographer trick. When an official blocks access to must-have shot the savvy camera man doesn’t storm like Oop did. They ask for help, directions, help – SMILE and the way magically opens.
Good Winter morning to the Benders and all. Ava should of taken a cell phone picture of Alley being led to the interrogation room. It’s is always a good idea in case of future litigation although it does make security rather grumpy. I never miss reading Alley Oop and enjoy it every day, even the slow days. If I ever miss a few day reading the other comments, they are usually saying the same things over and over again.
Alley Oop is the classic caveman comic strip revolving around the irrepressible Alley Oop, who travels from prehistoric Moo all the way to the 21st century in his friend Doc Wonmug's time machine.
