Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 15 “House of the Worm”(65) 10/6/12
Panel One
“You won’t need to fire the PNE gun, I or Dr. Avril will handle that.” Dr. Tucker told Alley. “But first we have to assemble it. I have had this idea for awhile, based on my anti-ghost screen technology. Only a matter of paraphysics engineered.”
“You build it, I carry it, an we clean this old house but good!” Alley answered with that famous square-toothed smile of his. (For his enemies it is a smile of defeat.)
Panel Two
“Um, what does the PNE stand for?” Alley asked Dr. Tucker. “Very simple Mr. Oop, Paranormal Neutralizer & Eliminator.” Dr. Tucker replied smiling.
Panel Three
“Storage of ghosts and other ectoplasmic entities cost. But it also pays extra money and I find that unsatisfactory to my sensibilities.” Dr. Tucker added with a bit of distaste to his face.
Panel Four
“I agree with you doctor, this beastie needs to eliminated. Or it find some way to come back and go after us again and again till it wins.” Alley replied,a cross look on his face just for a moment.
And now starts the wedding preparations. To the surprise of both Alley Oop AND Ooola. You don’t think I’m right? Look back at why Whatsizname kidnapped her in the first place.
What would be cool now, if the story changed to Yochi getting his chopped off since he lost. After all, rules are rules. I would put Yochi in prison waiting to get beheaded, and for some good-hearted reason Alley and Ooola now must save him!
Hope the Benders go for something more instead of just ending the arc. There’s plenty they can do from here.
I personally will be glad to see them go home. By the way who’s behind this? “Oscar”? Is he using the time machine? This is how this whole thing started. We need to find the culprit.
Whose wedding? That’s Yochi saying a deal’s a deal. The deal was that if Alley won, Ooolah would be released to him. Yochi has no real interest in Ooolah – any girl will do.
Four comments for me today – 1) Three panels instead of two. 2) Poor artwork in all three of them 3) A brilliant opportunity to bring the absolute worst Alley Oop story arc to an end. 4) Time for the Benders to retire.
Alley Oop is the classic caveman comic strip revolving around the irrepressible Alley Oop, who travels from prehistoric Moo all the way to the 21st century in his friend Doc Wonmug's time machine.

Alley was trying to take away the prince’s betrothed. The death sentence might have been a possibility for ONLY HIM!
