Maybe Agnes should head straight to the principal’s office, instead of class …just to save time.

I think the rushing current of Agnes’ imagination could turn enough windmills to light up a small city,
if we could just figure out how to hook it up.

You could do it directly, of course…
    synapse to conduit,
no windmills or generators to break the flow…
but DC that strong might blow out the transformers.

Are you sure Agnes’ brain is DC?
It strickes me as AC with an unstable frequency.
At least she’s as ecologically/environmentally mental as many others.

So now she’s being punished for caring about the planet? We can’t all be mindless drones.

Is that Bob’s cousin sitting behind Agnes in Panel 1?

…not nice to refer to the eco-huggers that way, they may be mindless drones, but they’re still people…

This is the first time I’ve seen the teacher send Agnes away without a good reason.

Just tell the feds your idea for a wind powered electric pencil sharpener and you’re sure to get a million dollar grant. Way to go, Agnes!

WindSharpNa!! Just like Prickly City, but no psychotic rabbit!

    They don’t generate any wind.
nor does a windmill mill wind — or grain necessarily.

Even wind powered electric generator may not apply. Maybe she just wants to mechanical energy directly to mechanical energy — wind turns turbine turns sharpener. Thus you could only sharpen pencils when the wind blows. Leave windows open.
    .
Best would be to convert to mechanical pencils and save trees and energy.

…i didn’t ‘mistake’ what she said. I ‘deliberately’ turned it around. Loses all its humour when you have to explain it to the clueless. Sigh…

It’s like, bad guys are people too.
    -
Meanwhile some would execute all people who ever do anything which might conceivably someday do some environmental damage up to and including decompose.
    -
Those people have stunted senses of humor, but they’re people too even if they will someday decompose.

Windmills wouldn’t work in the Principal’s office. we haven’t heard him speak – so we don’t know if he’s full of air.
    .
And I think Agnes is DC – but the frequency is variable and inconsistent.

Okay, I yield. DC it is although I’m not sure if the principal is a he or a she, more likely a “frustrated”
