Tony Cochran’s Agnes is a whimsical look at childhood through the eyes of the title character and her best friend, Trout. What sets this strip apart is the focus on that limbo just before little girls discover boys and appropriate social skills.

Those are perfectly cromulent words.

It may be Agnes’ awesome futurclivity as a writer, to be the creastiist and institutionaliser of multinumerous neologistications.
One can only hope the planet has readified itself for such an impressively magnitudinous revocabularization.

Arianne and Hunter, from yesterday…. yes, I guess there are a few nicknames that denote impressive stature …. but as Arianne thought, I was looking for an example of someone small called “Giant” or “Skyscraper,” the same way big guys are called “Tiny”.
“Refrigerator” Perry (?) is huge….
but were a 5’2" man called “Refrigerator” I don’t think anyone would get that it was a joke about his size.
Is it because some people admire a big man, but it’s considered rude to joke about a small one?
It brings up the question of why people care, anyway, about how tall or short someone is, or prefer one over the other… I never did.
And Night-Gaunt… DavidHG kind of covered for me (again! —thanks David) … people do like nicknames.
But I wasn’t looking to nickname anyone myself…. just noting examples of usage.

“Size matters not,’ as Yoda said to his girlfriend … er … to Luke…

Very funicular. (That IS a word! It’s just used malapropitiously.)

I’m not even going to try to make up words. I’ll just laugh at the well done comic and comments.

If we can have factoids, why not ridiculoids? I think I may have met a few some time.

Considering all the real words out there not being used, creating new ones is wasteful.

fam-i-ty (n.):
1: the quality or state of possessing fame
2: the antonym of “satiety”: EXTREME HUNGER
3: the condition of being on friendly terms with one’s relations (comb. “family+amity”)
Agnes desires (1) to a level of (2), but risks losing (3)…

… as yesterday I was trying to stay in the nickname theme but with a ‘interesting fact to share with others’.
.
I had to think a bit to remember the Refridgerator nickname. .
.
wonder if anyone remembers the performer during the ParaOymplic opening ceremonies in 2010? “Crazy Legs”.
.
Now Agnes today….. I can’t think of a word to describe her efforts.

probably she meant famine?
