Not everyone WANTS to eat spicy food. Not everyone CAN. The food you think of as perfectly spiced, I probably consider tortuously, painfully hot.
I can’t tolerate food that the people who love me dearly consider to be completely mild. I do, however, appreciate the flavors that are naturally a part of many foods, delicate as they may be.
A little open-mindedness on BOTH parties here would go a long way.
