Apparently the “greatest negotiator in the world” has already told Xi he’ll stay completely out of the Hong Kong freedom effort. In return, some of the trade war tariffs will be rolled back. So: He whacks us over the head with tariffs, then he offers Xi something in return for helping him back off some of the tariffs that were his idea in the first place. Whatta maroon.
