The Republican Party is self-destructing, as did the Whig Party in the 1850s, from whence it sprang. The northern Whigs became the radical Republican party, while the southern Whigs became the nativist American (know nothing) party.
Once again, a major American political party has split, those numbering themselves among the “new” party have yet to assume another name and those outside the newly formed “cult-of-personality” party simply refer to them all as the “Party of Trump”.
Be aware, however, that the new “Party of Trump” political party bears almost no resemblance to the older “Republican” party, and supports none of the ideas or “ideals” of the older, more established party – so just keep THAT in mind, going forward.
