@ Clark Actually it’s “soccer” to pretty much everywhere English-speaking outside the U.K. Even in Australia, South Africa & New Zealand the term “soccer” is as common as “football”. The word even originated in England from “association football”, coined in the 19th century. I don’t quite understand the snootiness expressed by the British when “soccer” is mentioned.
